So, Garrett, what do you think of chocolate?
And this is what happens every single time I take my camera out to get product photos … he chases me saying “Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee” until he gets his photo taken, too :) Garrett is officially 16 months old today, and finally has teeth on top!
The baby’s newest word: Tasty. Oh yeah, definitely my kid :D
Can ya tell?
So my son doesn’t seem to be able to concentrate on a task for more than two seconds. With most tasks, this is totally fine … I mean he’s 12 months old so everything is pretty interesting to him. This makes nursing when we’re out that much more challenging. I wear him in a sling which normally covers up everything and lets me doing the shopping while he does his thing. He has figured out how to pull on the side of the sling abruptly pop up like a demented kangaroo and babble at anyone who speaks to me. This is a fun game for him, little bit awkward for me. Unfortunately this pretty often turns into what I like to call “Peek-a-boobie”. My apologies to the checkout lady.
Garrett finally has another tooth. If this rate remains constant he will have all of his teeth just in time for them to fall back out.
This was a nine dollar closet organizer, a pair of potted plant coasters, a little paint, some help from my Dad and clever paint masking by my sister turned it into a perfectly Garret-sized kitchen for his birthday that’s nice and sturdy(especially important since he likes to climb all of his toys) for under $40. He already loves it, since there is plenty of metal to clang together and knobs to turn. I’ve got a ton of baby-safe play food for him to unwrap on his birthday. I’m pretty proud of how well it turned out :)
Brushing just one little baby tooth.
